The NSMS Grade 8 Farewell Committee is underway with the planning of the Grade 8 Farewell on Monday, 26 June from 6:30-8 pm.  The Grade 8 Farewell will be a social event with a dance, games/activities, food, and fun!  The Grade 8 Farewell is a parent-run, school-supported event, and we are appreciative of our parents for their organization of this event.  Please see the message below for more information: 

Grade 8 Farewell 2023! 

The time at NSMS is coming to an end for our Grade 8’s and to say goodbye in style we will be having a great send-off party full of fun for all! Glitz and Glam is the theme, and it will be an event to remember! 

Come dance to your favourite music chosen by you, snap some pictures in the photo booth, enjoy some pizza and lots of snacks and treats! Dancing not your style? There will be inflatable sports games and other games offered in the gym, some areas to just sit and relax and a few other things to enjoy while you spend the evening at your school remembering all the great memories you have made here over the years. 

Admission is $15 and can be paid online at this link.  If you have not done so, you will need to create an account using the email address we have for you as a parent contact (listed in our yearly verifications).  This is not a one-time account creation as this same account will be used at high school as well.  If you have any difficulties with logging in or paying online, please e-mail Keri Herle at kherle@saanichschools.ca. 

Due to increased costs for food, supplies, and rentals, please consider an additional donation for a fellow Grade 8 student to attend and/or to donate to the planned activities, supplies, or food.  If you would like to do this, there is a ​button below the admission fee indicating this donation option.
