The NSMS PAC is looking for some helping hands (and it’s light work). 

This year, the Parent Advisory Council (PAC) Executive of 4 volunteers worked with the Principal and school staff to develop systems to make volunteering on PAC as easy as possible (because we are busy working parents too). 😉

There is a multi-year budget, templates for agendas and minutes, and a thematic plan that follows the school calendar. And, the bylaws say we need to have a minimum of 6 meetings a year, so that’s what we did! 

With this plan, the PAC of the year can decide together how much extra effort to put in, because the basics are covered. ✅

At our upcoming AGM, we are looking for some fresh faces to join meetings in-person or virtually - to serve on the PAC Executive, or offer other assistance, such as utilizing social media, and organizing events or fundraising efforts. 

Specifically, we need to fill the Secretary Position (but if anyone wants to be President, that can be up for grabs too)! No experience is necessary (this is a learning environment after all).
