At the end of each school year, our Grade 8's participate in a student social event to celebrate their completion of middle school.  This event will be held on Monday, 23 June from 6:30-8 pm.  The Grade 8 Farewell is a parent-organized, parent-run, and school-supported event.  Planning will begin with a Grade 8 Parent Meeting on Wednesday, 23 April from 7-8:30 pm in the NSMS Learning Commons.  All Grade 8 parents and guardians are welcome to attend.  This is a great opportunity to learn about the Grade 8 Farewell, share ideas, meet other parents, sign up for helping opportunities, and stay in the loop in the planning process.  If any parents would like to reach out in advance to let me know they are interested in being a lead parent for this event, please let Mr. Newlove know at snewlove@saanichschools.ca.
